questioning of lifestyle, dietary habits and health concerns. It includes the Quantum Scio test and an explanation of possible underlying causes of health symptoms. A report will be given to you with agreed strategy for improving your health ( a 4 week dietary programme).Useful handouts will also be given to you with meal ideas. An additional supplement programme may also be advised.

FAQ

How long before I get the results?

The results of the Quantum Scio test are given to you at the consultation, and explained in a simple easy to follow report. The results of the other tests take 10 days to 2 weeks.

Will I understand the report?

You will have a full expanation after the Quantum Scio test, but you may wish to book a consulation to discuss the results of your hair test and stool test, and any other tests.

How long does this take?

The test only takes 3 minutes, but the consulatation and test will take between one and one and half hours.

Do I need to give blood?

Absolutely not. Nor is the skin punctured at any time. The tests are carried out non-invasively and non-contact while you are sitting comfortably.

What do the results tell me?

The results are produced immediately the test is completed. Depending on the test carried out, the results will clearly indicate good nutrient balance or nutrient deficiencies, hormone imbalances, organ imbalances, food intolerances or toxins present. The therapist will explain the results and make diet and supplementrecommendations.

How often will I need to be tested

Usually it is recommended every two or three months if you are recovering from an ailment and every six to twelve months for a general check up.

Do I need to be ill in order to benefit from the Scio?

No. By monitoring your health status any weakness can be found and acted upon before symptoms appear. We use a holistic approach and believe the body has the capacity to heal itself, supporting the immune system.

By ensuring your nutrient levels are balanced and you are avoiding intolerant foods, the body has the best chance of maintaining and promoting health, fitness and well-being.

Can children be tested?

Any one of any age can be screened. We have worked with everyone from young weaned babies to people over 90 years.

If you have had a pace-maker fitted or are pregnant then we will not carry out the test.

How long will it take before I am better?

Most people notice changes to their health and well being after a couple of weeks from the beginning of treatments. However everyone is an individual and will experience illnesses differently and respond to treatments differently. Some people improve very quickly, others take longer. Your practitioner will advise you on expected results.

Will I have to change my diet?

The food intolerance and nutrition tests will give a good indicator as to how suitable your diet is to you. It may be that you have to give up some foods and eat more of others. There are substitutes for most foods and these will be discussed with you.

The pay off for adopting a diet that suits your body can be very beneficial. By keeping to dietary recommendations your body can rebalance itself and accelerate the recovery process. In this way you should soon be able to return to eating most foods and experience better health.

Will supplements be recommended?

Where nutrients are found to be lacking you will be recommended supplements. By taking the right supplement in the correct dosage, the body's health balance can be very much boosted.

There has been some concern recently over the potential adverse effects of taking large amounts of supplements, some of which contain more than the recommended daily intake of some vitamins and minerals.

A new study published in Nutrition Journal however has found that those who take more supplements are much healthier than those who take a basic multivitamin and mineral alone or no supplements at all.
